My office will be hosting a Free Mortgage Fair on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 9 am to 1 pm at Wright College [map it], located at 4300 N. Narragansett.

The state has opened enrollment in the new Illinois Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan (IPXP), which will provide health insurance to uninsured Illinois residents who have been denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition.

Every day hundreds of constituents write and call my office with questions about their social security benefits, help with obtaining a visa, and whether they are eligible for a home loan modification to name just a few.
