Wishing You a Happy 4th of July

Dear Friend,

As we prepare for the weekend, I want to take a minute to wish you all a happy and safe Fourth of July. In addition to fun times with family and friends, Independence Day is also an opportunity to reflect on our nation's history, our values, and our future. As we celebrate America's founding ideals of equality, justice, and opportunity for all; let us also take a moment to thank the brave men and women in uniform who have defended these values and our freedoms. It is my privilege to represent you in Congress and do what I can to protect these principles as well.
