This fall, I will be hosting a free fair to connect seniors with critical resources and services! 

Seniors will be able to walk from booth to booth to collect handouts and information on how to obtain services and resources from federal, state, and local agencies. Free flu and COVID-19 shots will be available in an adjacent room.

This event is free, open to the public and registration is not required.

Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05), Ranking Member of the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD) Appropriations Subcommittee, and Representatives Brendan Boyle (PA-01), Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06), and Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) responded to Republican attacks on LGBTQI+ Community Funding Projects submitted by Boyle, Houlahan, and Pressley.

Following Republican passage of an amendment to remove these projects, Quigley introduced his own amendment to return them to the bill.

Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05), Co-Chair of the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC), concluded his Eight Climate Change Tour of Denali National Park and Preserve by re-introducing his Reducing Waste in National Parks Act. Quigley led four members on a three-day tour of the Park, during which they learned about the significant impacts of climate change on Denali and all of Alaska.

Today, Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL) alongside Reps. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Bruce Westerman (R-AR), and Eric Swalwell (D-CA), reintroduced the Promising Pathway Act. This bill would create a quick, provisional approval pathway for promising drugs able to treat life-threatening conditions.
