This funding comes through the Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Fiscal Year 2022 and 2023 Rail Vehicle Replacement (RVR) Program, helping transit systems with much-needed capital improvements to replace rail rolling stock.

FWS has announced that owners of big cats such as lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, jaguars, cougars, or hybrids of these species must register them by the end of the day June 18, 2023.
