This fall, I will be hosting a free fair to connect seniors with critical resources and services!
Seniors will be able to walk from booth to booth to collect handouts and information on how to obtain services and resources from federal, state, and local agencies. Free flu and COVID-19 shots will be available in an adjacent room.
As 2022 draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on this past year with you. From the hardships we have overcome to the milestones we have achieved, I'm incredibly proud of everything we have accomplished. Together, we set out to defend democracy here at home and abroad, fight climate change, help our economy recover, and protect the rights of all Americans.

The holiday season is a good time to reflect on what matters most to each of us. Something I'm always grateful for is my health and the health of those I love. That is why I have fought hard in Congress to ensure every American has access to affordable, reliable health care coverage.
I know Americans are counting on Congress to take action on the issues that matter the most to you - increasing prices, inflation, and the climate crisis. I'm back in Washington, D.C. this week to vote on the Inflation Reduction Act.
Over the past several weeks, our nation has been devastated by gun violence. While we were still reeling from the racially-motivated shooting in Buffalo, NY, a gunman massacred elementary school children in Uvalde, TX. This week alone we have seen shootings at a hospital in Tulsa, OK, a Walmart in Pittson, PA, and a high school in Los Angeles, CA.
Every Congressional district is unique and each one has unique, specific needs that the Congressional funding process doesn't always address. That's why I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to champion fifteen local projects for funding consideration by the House of Representatives.
Over the past month, we have watched in horror as Vladimir Putin's Russia has launched an illegal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. We have also been touched by the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people. In particular, I know we have all been inspired by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
