Rep. Quigley joined Chicago leaders and health care advocates for a press conference to unveil the findings of a troubling new report that outlines how 253,000 residents of Cook County who buy individual health insurance are at risk of losing their health insurance because of Republican efforts to take away ACA protections.

Rep. Quigley, who serves as Illinois’ only Member on the House Appropriations Committee, was named one of six House Democratic Members to serve on the conference committee on the Fiscal Year 2019 FSGG, Interior/Environment, THUD and Agriculture Appropriations bills.
