Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05), along with 20 members of the Congressional LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus sent a letter to President Joe Biden asking him to emphasize the importance of LGBTQ+ rights in Ukraine during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's upcoming visit. In the letter, the Members noted the recent introduction of dangerous bills in Ukraine's parliament that would harm Ukraine's LGBTQ+ community, as well as violence at Pride celebrations.

Prime Minister Edi Rama reaffirmed his earlier offer for Albania to temporarily admit Afghan refugees seeking U.S. visas. Quigley had planned to greet the refugees upon their arrival to Albania, however, the flights encountered repeated delays.
