U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley, along with Rep. Robert Pittenger introduced the bipartisan Small Financial Institution Advisory Committees Act. The legislation would create a Community Bank Advisory Committee and a Credit Union Advisory Committee within the Treasury Department to provide the department with valuable advice and guidance on a broad range of important issues impacting community banks and credit unions throughout the country, as well as the local communities they serve.
