Rep. Quigley appeared on CNN's Newsroom to discuss the ongoing investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 election as well as Trump's repeated lies that there was no interference or collusion at all despite clear evidence to the contrary.

“There is no alternative to a diplomatic solution to this. War in that peninsula is unconscionable,” Quigley said in regarding the upcoming peace talks between North and South Korea and the years of tension between them.

"John F. Kennedy didn’t stare down the Russians in the Cuban Missile Crisis by saying ‘OMG. Khrushchev bad. Hashtag hate Russia.’ He spoke to the American public, eyeball to eyeball. The Leader of the Free World, waking up on a Saturday morning and tweeting some bizarre rant is not just unfortunate and embarrassing, it’s dangerous."

"They're rushing this investigation. The interviews are taking place on an overlapping basis, often out of state. And they're refusing to bring in certain people who would be important witnesses."

"I think what they're doing is attacking a war hero, a person with impeccable credentials, bipartisan support before Mr. Mueller. They're going after the FBI. They're going after the Justice Department because, frankly, the investigation is getting scary. It's reached the White House."
