Quigley Statement on Dallas Shootings

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05), Ranking Democrat on the Emerging Threats subcommittee of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), released the following statement on the shooting that killed five police officers and wounded seven others in Dallas:

“The cold blooded shooting and killing of Dallas Police Officers late last night is both despicable and heart wrenching. I have nothing but sympathy and prayers for the families and friends of the wounded and killed, as well as the entire city of Dallas as they heal after this tragic loss. While many questions still remain at this time, it is clear that the killers were full of hate and had only one goal in mind – to kill. It is more important than ever that all Americans come together as one to stand collectively, hand-in-hand, against hatred and violence of all kinds.”
