Quigley Statement on Trump Halting Military Aid to Ukraine

Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05), Co-Chair of the Congressional Ukraine Caucus, released the following statement in response to President Donald Trump halting all military aid to Ukraine:

“This news is no surprise coming from a President who has moved beyond appeasement and into aiding and abetting the war criminal Vladimir Putin. It’s time for all Members of Congress to stand up for the democratic ideals this country has fought for over the last 100 years. To my Republican colleagues who have publicly or privately espoused their support for Ukraine: the time has come when you must choose between democracy and autocracy. I urge all freedom-loving people to speak out or find themselves on the wrong side of history.”
