Quigley Statement on the Passing of Dan Rostenkowski

CHICAGO -- Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (D-IL) issued the following statement after the passing of former U.S. Congressman Dan Rostenkowski:

"Today, I offer my deepest condolences to the Rostenkowski family. Dan served the 5^th District of Illinois for three and a half decades, and I join with his former and now my constituents in thanking him for his public service. Chicago and the nation have lost a political giant."

Quigley serves Illinois' 5^th District, the same seat held by Rostenkowski from 1959-1994.
