Quigley Statement on Shooting of U.S. Congresswoman

CHICAGO--Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley issued the following statement after U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords (AZ-8) was shot at a District event in Tuscon, Arizona:

"My thoughts and prayers are with my friend and colleague Representative Gabrielle Giffords and all those injured this afternoon in Tuscon, Arizona. As we continue to learn more, I hope and pray for the wellbeing of the victims of today's unthinkable tragedy and my heart goes out to the families and loved ones of all involved."
