Quigley Statement on Earth Day

Today, Congressman Quigley issued the following statement in honor of Earth Day:

"Today may be Earth Day, but taking care of our neighborhoods and conserving our natural resources are bigger commitments than a one-day job. To truly preserve our planet, we need an all-hands-on-deck operation every single day of the year. The reason I first got involved in politics was to protect the environment because, ultimately, the most important thing any of us can do is leave a better world for our children and our children's children. I'd like to thank the millions who are out there today planting trees, picking up trash, and teaching their friends about recycling, and I will continue to do all I can in Congress to promote sustainable and environmentally-friendly policies."
