Quigley Offers Thoughts, Prayers for Haiti

January 13, 2010

Today, Congressman Quigley issued the following statement in the wake of yesterday's devastating earthquake in Haiti:

"I want to extend my deepest condolences to the people of Haiti who have suffered this terrible tragedy. The destruction has claimed the lives of thousands, ripping apart families and paralyzing this island nation. As the President said this morning, Haiti has the full support of America and our resources, and it is my sincere hope that rescue efforts will save lives and help limit the effects of the damage that has already been wrought. Families in Haiti and their loved ones around the world are in our thoughts and prayers.
