Quigley Nominates Students for Admission to U.S. Service Academies

CHICAGO – U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05) has nominated students from the Fifth Congressional District for admission to the U.S. Service Academies for the graduating class of 2020. The admissions departments of the academies will make the final decision on acceptance.

“I am extremely proud to nominate these motivated, passionate and successful young men and women for admission to our prestigious service academies,” said Rep. Quigley. “To be nominated to one of our nation’s service academies is a great honor and a substantial accomplishment. I thank all of the young men and women who want to serve and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”

The Fifth District nominees are:

U.S. Air Force Academy: Regina Arcangel, of Chicago, Air Force Academy High School; Carl Damlos, of Chicago, Notre Dame College Prep; Philip Schlitter, of Elmhurst, York Community High School; Mateuz Szelazek, of Franklin Park, East Leyden High School; Jianine Testa, of Chicago, Noble Street College Prep
