Quigley Appointed to Escort Committee for Zelenskyy Address to Congress

Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05), Co-Chair of the Congressional Ukraine Caucus, was appointed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi to the escort committee for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's joint address to Congress.

"It's an honor to be appointed to the escort committee and represent my Ukrainian-American constituents in this moment of national, historical significance. I am also grateful to have the opportunity to speak with President Zelenskyy prior to his remarks. This is an opportunity for me to share the well wishes of my constituents and to emphasize our continued dedication to supporting Ukraine as they fight against an invading autocrat," said Quigley.

Quigley will join a bipartisan group of members, including House and Senate leadership, and members of the House and Senate, in escorting President Zelenskyy into the House Chamber.
