Quigley Announces Juan Hinojosa as Chief of Staff

September 30, 2013

WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL-05) named Juan Hinojosa as his new Chief of Staff following the departure of former Chief of Staff Lindsey Matese.

"The people of Illinois' Fifth District will be well-served by Juan's mid-West roots, his history of public service and his enthusiasm for protecting our environment," said Quigley. "Lindsey was an invaluable leader in our office who will be deeply missed, and we wish her nothing but the best in her new endeavors."

Hinojosa joins the office from Strategies 360, where he served as Director of Federal Relations and consulted on energy and environment issues for non-profit and corporate clients. Prior to that, he worked for six years in Congress in the offices of Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN), Representative Brad Ellsworth (D-IN) and Representative Bobby Bright (D-AL). A native of northwest Indiana, he holds an M.A. in American history from Indiana University.
