No need to ask Rep. Mike Quigley (D-Ill.) who he is cheering for in the National League wild-card game — it’s Da Cubbies.

Quigley — who represents most of Chicago's North Side, where the Cubs play at Wrigley Field — walked off the House floor after a vote Wednesday and immediately popped on a Cubs hat.

Quigley approached a few reporters and noted the game’s start time is 7:08 p.m. in Chicago, which is an hour behind the East Coast.

"You know what time that is in military time?" he asked. "1908."

That's the last time the Cubs won the World Series — 107 years ago.

"Everyone can have a bad century," Quigley said.

The Cubs face off against the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road in a one-game series, with the winner moving on to face the St. Louis Cardinals in the next round of baseball’s playoffs, which starts on Friday.
