Dear Friend,

After a jam-packed district work period, I returned to Washington, DC this week. Here's how I spent this week fighting for you:

1. Denounced Trump's Use of the National Guard

Quigley on a smart approach to crime

Trump's use of the National Guard is the work of an authoritarian regime, but it's also an expensive PR stunt. It's just not a smart approach to crime.

I was proud to secure $2.5 million for bulletproof vests and squad car technology for our Chicago Police, and I'm going to continue to push for commonsense solutions to crime that work.

You can watch a clip of my interview HERE.

2. Demanded Congressional Republicans Release the Epstein Files

This week, I signed a bipartisan discharge petition to force the Trump administration to release the Epstein files.

As Founder of the Transparency Caucus, I’m calling on every member of Congress to agree to release 100% of the Epstein files—Republican and Democrat.

You can read the discharge petition HERE.

3. Advocated For Our Immigrant Community

I know the ICE raids are sowing fear and confusion throughout our community. My team and I created "Know Your Rights" materials, so you can protect yourself and community members against Trump's ICE campaign. These materials are available in English and Spanish.

We will also have wallet-sized versions available for pickup in my Chicago office soon.

Do you want to share your concerns with me? You can email me any time by visiting quigley.house.gov/contact. You can also sign up for in-the-moment updates on my work by following me on social media @RepMikeQuigley or texting "QUIGLEY" to (773) 200-2854.
