Catching Up With Quigley: Week of June 10
Dear Friend,
I hope you have had a good week. I wanted to share an update on the work I did this week in Congress and back home in Illinois' 5th district.
1. Celebrated Pride Month!
Happy Pride! π³οΈβπ
As a Vice Chair of the Congressional Equality Caucus, I am so pleased to be celebrating Pride this month and honoring the work of LGBTQI+ activists throughout history. Iβm dedicated to continuing to work with my colleagues in Congress to advance a pro-equality agenda and protect the rights of LGBTQI+ Americans in Illinois' 5th district and around the world.

2. My Office Held a Free Senior Fair

On Thursday, my office hosted a free fair to connect seniors with critical resources and services. Nearly 300 Chicagoans came by to visit booths, collect materials, and learn more about the federal, state, and local programs available to seniors.
I am deeply committed to ensuring those in our community, especially seniors, have the resources they need. My office is available to assist with a wide array of issues including veteran's benefits, passport assistance, social security, and much more. To set up an appointment with my staff, please call (773) 267-5926.
3. Met with Congressional Gold Medal Winner

This week, I congratulated 5th district resident Christian Goodall on earning the prestigious Congressional Award Gold Medal β Congressβ highest youth award. Christian Goodall, a student at DePaul College Prep, fulfilled rigorous requirements in voluntary public service, personal development, physical fitness, and expedition/exploration to earn the award. Goodall volunteered his time teaching emergency preparedness and completed his exploration requirements by canoeing the Boundary Waters!
