E-Newsletters

Here are three things I did in Washington this week to represent you.

1. Voted to Stop Trump's Wars in the Middle East

This week, I voted yes on two War Powers Resolutions to stop Trump from continuing his wars in the Middle East.

Americans are no better off than they were before the war with Iran—we can not let this catastrophe spread to Lebanon and other countries.

2. Advocated to Keep Gun Safety Policies in Place

I also joined Representative Joe Morelle and nearly 90 other Democrats in fighting for gun safety policies. Trump is using the Justice Department and ATF to rollback 34 different firearms regulations.

As Vice Chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, I refuse to let him destroy these commonsense regulations that keep Americans safe.

3. Voted to Save Aid for Ukraine

I also voted to pass the Ukraine Support Act to continue sending aid to Ukraine. The majority of Republicans voted no on this bill, and to this day, Trump has still not said specified who he wants to win the war.

We need to keep giving Ukraine a fighting chance against Russia. We are the ONLY THING keeping him from taking Ukraine and the rest of Eastern Europe.
